Holding a degree in Popular Music (voice) and a Master’s degree in Performing Arts from UNICAMP — where he also studied dance — Yantó has dedicated nearly two decades to teaching singing and providing vocal coaching for projects across music, film, theatre, and dance.
Alongside his academic training, he has pursued continuous specialization in different vocal and body-based practices. His studies include the Alexander Technique with Izabel Padovani, the pedagogical approaches of IVA (Institute for Vocal Advancement) and Speech Level Singing with Wagner Barbosa, and BMC (Body-Mind Centering) with Adriana Grecchi, among other vocal and somatic methods focused on the integration of voice, body, and performance.
Recognized within the artistic field as a leading vocal coach, his work combines vocal technique, body awareness, and interpretative direction, developing tailored processes that integrate the physiological aspects of the voice with the artistic construction of performance. His practice also includes vocal direction in recording and creative processes, focusing on the development of expressivity, meaning, and vocal presence both on stage and in the studio.

Homem com H (2025)
Homem com H is a musical biographical film directed by Esmir Filho, portraying the artistic and personal trajectory of Ney Matogrosso, one of the most influential figures in Brazilian music. The film follows his early formation, artistic rise, and cultural impact, articulating music, performance, and cinematic narrative.
The film stars Jesuíta Barbosa, whose performance was widely acclaimed by critics for its technical precision, expressive intensity, and physical commitment to the character.
For the musical dimension of the role, Yantó provided vocal coaching for Jesuíta Barbosa’s singing voice, collaborating directly in the construction of the vocal performances featured in the film. The work involved technical development, physiological adjustments, and research into Ney Matogrosso’s vocal identity.
The preparation also included an in-depth study of the original recordings, focusing on adapting the voice to dramatic and cinematic demands, ensuring credibility in both live singing scenes and moments in which the actor lip-syncs to original phonograms, maintaining coherence between interpretation, narrative, and musical performance.

Raul Seixas: Eu Sou (2025)
"Raul Seixas: Eu Sou" is a biographical series produced by Globoplay and O2 Filmes that portrays the life and work of Raul Seixas, one of the most influential figures in Brazilian music. Created by Paulo Morelli and directed by Paulo Morelli and Pedro Morelli, the series follows his artistic development, personal conflicts, and cultural impact.
The production stars Ravel Andrade, whose performance stands out for its technical precision, emotional depth, and physical commitment to the role.
For the musical dimension of the character, Yantó provided vocal coaching and preparation for Ravel Andrade’s singing voice, working during both pre-production and in-studio musical supervision of the sung scenes, in partnership with Wagner Barbosa.
The work involved technical development, physiological adjustments, and research into Raul Seixas’ vocal identity, adapting the actor’s voice to the series’ dramaturgical demands. This approach ensured coherence between interpretation, narrative, and musical performance, enhancing the credibility of both live singing scenes and their integration into the audiovisual language.
